- This week's team Facilitator should create a new thread titled, Week 2: Axioms for Curriculum.
- In your team discussion forum, discuss the following:
- Does your school or system have axioms that support creating a collaborative learning community that educates all students?
- Is the collaborative process successful? What makes it succeed or not succeed?
- Is technology used to foster collaboration in your school system, and if so how? Is its use widespread or limited?
- With your team, identify and describe two additional axioms that relate to curriculum based on your current experience and understanding. In your discussion, be sure to discuss the following:
- A broader perspective of curriculum development (i.e., state and national influences)
- The role of technology in curriculum
- The inclusion of students with special needs and abilities and how technology can support those needs
- The role of professional development
- By Monday, the team Reporter should post your team's two developed axioms as a new thread in the Week 2: Axioms for Curriculum whole group discussion forum to share with the class.
- Between Monday and Tuesday, individually review the curriculum axioms posted by each team in the Week 2: Axioms for Curriculum whole group discussion forum. Please respond and provide comments or follow up questions, as you deem appropriate.
